A few years back I noticed some striking pieces of artwork in the Habitat store in Manchester centre. Each print featured a famous Mancunian landmark (sadly I've been unable to track down the name of the designer). The designs were simple, but incredibly effective.

I wanted to try my hand at making my own version and at that time Beetham Tower was near completion. It dominates the Mancunian skyline, but it’s a beautiful building and I felt that it was the perfect landmark for this design.

This is a very old piece of work (early 2012) but I thought it was worthy of inclusion here.
