Journey back in time to 1997 and 1998 with a series of breathtaking 4x5 BW Polaroid images, captured through the lens of a Sinar 4x5 view camera. These shots were taken in various cities across the USA, each one unique and bursting with character. The photographer was experimenting with the Polaroid Type 55 positive/negative film, and a fortuitous "mistake" resulted in stunning halos and erosion that became the signature style of the entire project.
The negatives were then scanned with a drum scan at the highest resolution and the colors were digitally hand-painted to bring the images to life. The final result was then outputted on 4x5 color negative and printed on Fujicolor Glossy Paper. Each print is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, hand-signed by the photographer.
