The SPA area with a swimming pool is located on the sixth floor of the five-star HAY Boutique Hotel in the Carpathians. That is a place for physical recovery and emotional relaxation. Shades, textures, sounds, and aromas embrace guests into a high-quality relaxing atmosphere.
A unique solution is a steel pool with an outlet and portholes in the bottom. Part of the swimming lane is indoors, and the other part is outdoors. The pool is located at the height of about 20 meters from the ground. A view of the mountain slope and the ski track opens through its end side made of glass.
The round portholes at the bottom of the pool look on the floor below. Thus, the corridor between the rooms on the fifth floor became the most Instagrammed place in the hotel. Through the glass hatches on its ceiling, you can see the column of blue water and the smooth movements of people in the pool.
The phyto bar next to the pool offers local herbal collections. The theme of herbs continues in the area of SPA procedures. One of them is the Kraxen sauna, where the steam passes through the hay and saturates it with its natural aroma. The cosmetics, materials, and tinctures used in the four massage rooms are also based on local herbs. A Finnish sauna with panoramic windows and a forest view is a place for meditation and contemplation of the surrounding beauty.
The main idea of the hotel and Local SPA is to dissolve in the local nature. Local water, Carpathian air, and local herbs act on all levels. Naturalness is a new luxury. It saturates, calms, and gives us energy for further movement. After all, the quality of life depends on the quality of rest.
