The final illustration.
Close up of the Iberian Wolf.
Doing the meditation exercise provided by Light Grey Art Lab, i saw a wolf.
I wanted to convey the idea of movement, and freedom, which are characteristics of the Wolf.
I choosed this specie because it's portuguese ( lives in Iberian Peninsule, both in Spain and Portugal), which is where i also live.
This way i could show i beautiful this animal is and call the attention to the fact that it's in danger, with only 300 animals living in Portugal.
Final gouache drawing on watercolor paper.
