건강에 대한 관심도 점점 늘어가면서 일부 엘리트 운동선수들의 전유물이던 운동경기를 보는 것에서 탈피하여 직접 참여하고 선수처럼 높은 강도의 스포츠를 즐기는 사회체육이 발달하고 있다.
