Sofá/Cama
For a little over four months I locked myself in the woodwork with the goal of building a couch, armed with assemblies, which had biodegradable, reused, recyclable or renewable materials and also became bed. I did not know I was getting into but after experience with mechanisms, manufacturing processes and analysis of material behavior the result was a sofa without any nails, screws or hinges, with a minimum amount of adhesive (only used on 4 of the 14 pieces) and very easy to assemble and transport. The materials used were aluminum, wood, 100% cotton twill, recovered foam and polypropylene strips. Turns into bed by pushing forwards the sitting area, simple.
