Pictures present the diverse beauty of this Italian gem, capturing various locations around the island including the fiery peak of Mount Etna, the highest and most active volcano in Europe, the little town of Savoca where scenes from "The Godfather" were filmed, Cefalu, the bustling city of Palermo, Corleone, with its extremely picturesque road leading to the city, the stunning Zingaro Nature Reserve, Castellamere, the salt pans of Saline in Trapani, the ancient city of Agrigento, the hilltop town of Enna, Ragusa, and the historic city of Siracusa. However, the true magic was experienced when we ventured off the beaten path and discovered the charming and picturesque towns and landscapes that are found throughout the island.
