This pixel art environment was based on a game concept I made, which followed the story of an unknown WWII soldier's death. It was heavily inspired by the game 11:11 Memories Retold.
I created this 3D stylised version of a room using Blender, for a game concept similar to Unpacked.
I created a LEGO minifigure based of Ada Lovelace using Blender.
I created a one-bit game, where the player is a fish and the objective is to eat the food to gain health, however if you hit the shark, you lose health. The player has 60 seconds to gain as much health as possible. Here are the character sprites that feature in my game.
I created a game where the player is a swimming turtle, avoiding oil spills and plastic bottles. The player can gain power ups to speed up, slow down objects and gives a10 second shield.  The aim of the game is to survive for as long as possible.
I've collaborated with Nick Wozniak, the pixel artist of Shovel Knight for a brief to create my own character boss sprite, based of an ecological issue, which fits the feel of the other Shovel Knight bosses. I chose the ecological issue, drought and created my character sprite using the same creative restrictions as the Shovel Knight team, such as canvas sizes and colour pallet. I also created a gender swap version of my sprite, like the other shovel knight bosses.
Here are some of my translations of characters to pixel art. I've been constantly doing these for the past year, trying to help improve my pixel art skills.
I experimented with making my own pixel art environments and translating pieces of art into pixel art.
I created both Tick Tock and the Tin Man from ' Return to Oz'. For this project I took the IP of Return to Oz and created a game concept based from it, I was heavily inspired by both Fran Bow and Alice: Madness Returns.
I created a ship based of the game WipEout (1995). I was in a group and we created a team that would be based in WipEout and created ships that fit the WipEout theme but also fit with the team.
I drew my cat in photoshop, in a sketchy looking style. I experimented with fragmented colours.
I started practising some stylized drawings in photoshop, practising straighter lines.
I created some chess pieces in Blender.
I created a car to practise my texturing and setting in 3D.
I was apart of a game jam, me and my team created a game called 'Space Shooters'. I created the instructional poster and the background.
