The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts

Branding
Art connects physical, social, and emotional elements to create a sense of belonging to one's identity and heritage while providing experiences that individuals can delight.
The Royal Institute works to represent the culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by narrating the artistic history and stories of traditional artworks and telling the stories of the artists, in addition to preserving the originality of these arts and encouraging those interested in them to learn, master and develop them.
The Arabic calligraphy came to reflect the rising civilization in the Arabia Peninsula, which was the cradle of the written text arts. The written language was the vessel that contained the publications & letters used to run the expanding Arab State and Arabize Its administration offices.

Our forefathers did their best to employ the power of inspiration & influence to diversify Arabic calligraphy & make it stand out by putting down rules for users and creating a distinctive identity for each style.

The logo's central idea revolves around embracing various Arabic calligraphy styles, including Riqa'a & Madani, which reflect our Arabic identity.
