DISTORTED REALITY is inspired by mental health and the consumption of drugs, more specific, psychedelic drugs. The accessories are lined up in an essential order that tells a story. The first part of the collection starts with bright colors, prints and unconventional manipulations, that are inspired by the visual effects that consumers get to experience by consuming these drugs.

The shapes and volumes used in this collection are very organic and fluid, besides that distortions and altarations are key words to understand the designs. The other half of the collection is dark, inspired by mental health disease and the psychiatric asylums back in the day, where patients were brutally treated by using machines and other equipment, which shapes are translated into an accessor. Disease such as schizophrenia, are being investigated to understand how and what these people experience and feel

Together with these two broad inspirations, the collection shows the process of consuming drugs over a long period of time and its consequences.
