In this process-driven project, I wanted to show the patterns in movement. I began by embarking on an urban drift in nature. I was intrigued by the idea of mapping unguided walks. I had a participant walk, in no particular order or marked path, across a creek to insure it was a genuine drift. They marked their route with yarn which I later recreated a drawing of the pattern they created. This early process inspired the rest of the work. I constructed three small books, similar to journals that were made up of collected data from the drift. Quotes, readings, images, tracings, sketches, were all used to create artist books.
