An Image Recognition Recipe App
Homecook is based on the idea of simple homemade cooking where users can scan readily available ingredients and get a list of recipes with a minimal amount of additional ingredients.
How It Works
Homecook uses an algorithm that identifies features and colors of the subject. This data is processed and compared to a dataset of 20 different fruits and vegetables, trained in Google's Teachable Machine, to identify the subject.
The app fetches the recipes from Spoonacular API. It is designed to provide recipes with minimal additional ingredients to stick to its core aim of providing simple recipes.
