What-if Series: Manufacturers not seen in the Gran Turismo World Finals
Next Manufacturer: Audi
One of the most well-known and successful GT3 cars in the world, Audi should be a shoe-in for a spot in the World Finals. However for those that know, it's not that surprising that the Audi itself is not that popular in the world of Gran Turismo. The R8 itself has been known as one of the more tail-happy MR cars available in the class (along with Lamborghini and Ferrari). As well when BOP is applied, it is one of the lowered powered cars in the class as well, with not having that good of acceleration or traction in the rain, like it's stablemate Porsche.
With the coming updates and adjustments that are bound to come into the game, it will be a telling time when the Audi is again competitive enough, and popular enough, to make it back to the big competition with the other manufacturers.
