Warhol's Factory Polaroids With Ai

Warhol's Factory Polariods
by Ai with Prompts from Tim Tadder

We all need to have a discussion about AI.

I want to remind people that Ai art is a new medium that has incredible power. It is something in an of itself and as A contemporary artist, I feel I HAVE to explore it and as a photographer that knows its going to destroy so many of my peers and friends, I have to understand it and share my journey. It's like a stream of thought. I am using it to explore my visual journey from the beginning to the to, I am exploring the artist I love and the images that drew me to the craft in the first place. If there is one thing I have learned in the past week of exploring is that photographers an artists are PISSED off, mad at #ai and mad at me for using it. I want remind everyone that just because I am using it does not mean that I support it, what its going to do to people I love.

I want to remind people that me not using it is not going to stop it. And ignoring it, saying F Ai is not an option for me either. Like I said, this is an artistic wonderland that as an artist I simply can not ignore. It does not make it right. But we have to remember Andy Warhol, who was known his use of appropriation in his art. He often incorporated elements from popular culture, such as advertisements, product packaging, and photographs, into his works, often re-purposing and re-contextualizing them in his own unique way. This approach to art making was seen as a form of cultural critique and commentary, and it remains an influential aspect of Warhol's legacy and impact on the art world.

I feel #ai is kind of Warhol on steroids. More than steroids, Warhol with nuclear power... I would regret not diving in head first if I had the chance to spend time at Warhols factory and tap into pure creativity and disruption.

Why am I using #ai because I have to...because its going to happen...because I think everyone should explore it...ITS NOT PHOTOGRAPHY, its #aiart and its something that will be a defining period in Art just like Andy's work. Enjoy or not...

What is this? Its only fitting that I let Ai from ChatGPt tell you;

Andy Warhol was an American artist known for his groundbreaking work in the field of pop art. He used the Polaroid camera extensively to create portraits of himself and his friends, as well as still lifes, nature, and street scenes. Warhol was fascinated by the instant gratification of the Polaroid camera and used it as a tool to document his life and surroundings. He often used the Polaroid images as studies for larger silkscreen paintings, cropping and manipulating them to fit his unique aesthetic. Warhol's Polaroids are now considered important works of art and are widely recognized as a significant part of his artistic legacy.

Andy Warhol's "factory" was a nickname for his studio in New York City, which was a gathering place for a diverse group of artists, musicians, actors, and intellectuals. Some of Warhol's most notable "factory friends" include:

Edie Sedgwick: A model and actress who was one of Warhol's muses and starred in several of his short films. Candy Darling: A transgender actress and Warhol superstar.
Nico: A German singer and actress who collaborated with Warhol on several projects.
Susan Blond: A promoter and publicist who worked closely with Warhol.
Ondine: A performer and painter who was part of Warhol's inner circle.
Paul Morrissey: A filmmaker who worked with Warhol on several projects and directed many of Warhol's films. Ultra Violet: A French artist and actress who was a close friend of Warhol's. These individuals and others were part of Warhol's close-knit community of friends and collaborators, and their presence in his life and work helped to shape the unique vision of his art. Lou Reed, Keith Haring and Grace Jones also in these images.
This is my spin on it....with the help of AI.
