In Japan, whiskey becomes 'whiskey' after ageing in wooden casks for at least three years. As it is first born out of the still—and before ageing—the spirit is called 'New Make'. For Shindo Distillery in Fukuoka, Japan, this is their first-ever New Make, and it follows a maverick and different way to think of the 'Japanese Whisky' making process. The label reflects this unorthodox spirit in it's dynamic, elegant typographic design.
