STACKS
the foldable shelves
For my first hackathon of the semester, I decided to ease into it with some nice wood working! I also needed more space in my dorm room considering the shelving was getting cramped and my POP! collection was growing by the day!
But also wanted to have something that could also be multipurposed if need be.
This was a rough sketch of what I had envisioned.
- As stated in the sketch it can lay on its side and or stand vertically depending on preference
- Can fold to be a trash can
- Can even be a shoe rack
Here is the plywood cut out and sanded before assembling.
To get the right texture I wanted on the box I decided to start with an 80 grit then move to a 120 grit
Finally here is "STACKS" in use
