Reflective Journal: One's Mind in Redesigning Society

"Design Society and Cultures" is one of the units in my first term studying MA Design Management in London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. This unit talks about the origin of Design Management, how design shapes society and cultures and the other way round, and how the students personally perceive the notion of designing.

Each student must create a reflective journal from this unit. I created one that reflects on how an Indonesian Muslim woman views the notion of design management in this societal world. It is amazing how everything I have been through in life is somehow connected in this unit. I have been interested in learning the relationship between society and cultures with design, and how they are linked with the field of design management.

The process of learning this unit and making the journal was super fun. It would be really appreciated if you read it. This piece is still far from perfect, therefore feedbacks and critiques are welcome! If you want to ask or discuss about anything related to this topic, please do not hesitate to contact me, I would be happy to discuss further with you!

Enjoy reading. :)
