Assignment:
Design a cover in the style of The New Yorker magezine that reinterprets the classic Eustace Tilley in a modern light.
In response to the assignment, I wanted to portray Eustace Tilley as a modern icon featured in a tattoo. It is a fairly recent practice for one to don a pop culture idol on one's body. Although Tilley may not be a part of pop culture in the typical sense, he is surely a recognized and beloved icon to many.
