For the first part of this assignment I had to choose three song's. And I had to describe the feeling and the atmosphere of the song.

Ik vind dit een heel gaaf nummer en als ik er naar luister krijg ik er al gelijk ideeën bij. Het gaat ook van zacht naar hard. De tekst is best letterlijk.
Gevoel: angst, stress
Sfeer: 1920, oude sfeer
Nadelen: veel herhaling word misschien saai

Lay Down by Caravan Palace is a song that uses a lot of samples from the song "Bye and Bye Little Children" by Golden Gate Quartet. All the tekst from Lay Down are samples that are distorted and cut up.
"Bye and Bye Little Children" seems to be about someone who is sick and who thinks they are going to hell. Lay down has the same lyrics, but it sounds a lot more sinister. The person who sings the text sounds scared and stressed.
