These photos are composition studies and how areas of interest appear within

complex shapes and patterns. In my case as I look thru a viewfinder areas of power will appear to me within the rectangular frame. The balance of these areas of power is how I compose all images, whether they are done for a client (commercial photography) or out of my own interest (fine art photography). 

These photos also explore emotion. It's mysterious how inanimate objects can convey emotion when visually framed by an artistic eye. Each photograph is entirely subjective, of course, and no two people see the same thing, or react in exactly the same way. I'm less interested in trying to portray beauty (something we really can't define) than in capturing power relationships within the visual frame.
