The Young Cat is a folk art surface pattern collection full of tenderness and cozy colors. 

I took inspiration from my own cat, Ramone, who passed away a few months ago. I really miss him a lot, and my purpose now is to create things that can make me feel like he did when he layed down on my belly. 

I'm still struggling against the pain of his loss (only people with empathy with animals will understand this), but recently I've started to design new things that comforts me a bit after all.

Ramone had a good vitality despite being an old cat. I will always remember him as a playful and fun cat. So I named this collection "The Young Cat".
