This is a one of a kind graphic for the portrush open.
The graphics take inspiration from two areas.
The first is from the form of a breaking wave. The second is from the local area in Portrush - The Giants Causeway. the hexagonal shapes withing the wave take the same form as the pillars at the giants causeway, making this graphic and board unique to the area of the competition.
The board will go to the winner of the Senior Open division in the surf competition.

For this project, a larger roller was made to offer the winner of the board a bigger challenge in using the board. The roller, like the board is made using Baltic Birch Plywood. This material gives an excellent finish and is very strong.
Traditionally the diameter of the roller is 140mm, this roller however is 200mm in diameter.
