TNC - Pará Annual Report

The Pará annual Report was the first video created for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) that exposes the challenges for the preservation of the largest tropical forest in the world, the Amazon.

In this project, TNC's work in the state of Pará was portrayed, on several fronts, to combat climate change, protect biodiversity and transform Pará into a beacon of sustainable development.

The vegetation of the Amazon in upland forests is composed of large trees such as Sumaúma and Brazil nut trees. In this project we had the creative freedom to portray the vegetation in a more playful way, not keeping the real proportions of the trees.

For the native fauna of the Amazon, 2 species of birds were represented, the socozinho and the macaw, a sloth, a squirrel monkey and a jaguar.

Some of the characters were created from references we obtained from the TNC Brasil photo bank, such as the indigenous people who represent the Xikrin and Parakanã peoples.
