The consequences of climate change are no longer a thing to be expected in the future but something we are experiencing in the present. While the common man gets shamed into using paper straws, corporations, people in power and celebrities emit more emissions in one private jet ride than a common person would in their entire life. The music industry also contributes to capitalism, which in return contributes to climate change, by mass producing and monetizing everything. 
Taylor Swift is someone I have always looked up to but there is no denying that she, too, at the end of the day is a capitalist who contributes to climate change. Swift released the most amount of private jet emissions in 2022, even when she was not touring. She also has been actively contributing to capitalism.

I chose a picture of Taylor singing with a headline of an article about the consequences of climate change. I chose to bring it on a tote bag because tote bags are something that have been highly capitalized and reproduced recently. I chose (thrifted) denim as the fabric because it requires the most amount of water to be produced.
