Overview
Bake King is a local brand that specialises in manufacturing and distributing of baking products. Their products ranges from items such as food flavours, essences, colouring, baking ingredients, nuts, dried fruits, cake decorations, toppings, herbs and spices, and many more.

Besides their locally known products, they also carry other foreign brands such as Allinson's, Silver Spoon, Billington's, etc.
Project Objective
To revamp the website for Bake King and showcase their wide range of products to consumers who wish to purchase them. Showcasing their wonderful baking classes and also share tips and recipes for traditional and modern bakes.
Suggested Target Audience
★ General public from ages 18 - 70, who enjoy baking at the comfort of their own home
★ Aspiring bakers who wish to upgrade themselves whilst working their day-to-day jobs
★ Bakers who are working a full-time job at islandwide bakeries

Why is it better?
Business Goals
Goal 1
As times keep changing, newer and modern bakes will be trending. Hence, the public would prefer a more interesting yet stylish approach type of baking. In the future, employees could settle down and discuss with each other about the types of bakes in which they would like to share with others. In addition, they could also set the classes into different levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) in order to cater to a more wider target audience. Customers will then be able to make a selection of which of the levels are more compatible with their skills.

By doing this, they will gain more traction and gradually increase the size of each of the classes to fit in those who are interested in learning.
Goal 2
As Bake King is more of a locally known brand, their products may not be familiar to customers from other countries despite carrying foreign brands in their shop. Therefore, by encouraging suppliers from other countries, the brand will be able to reach out to both local and foreign target audiences. This will grow their brand awareness and based on the revenue they are receiving, foreign markets will be more familiarised with this local brand.
Goal 3
Due to the ever increasing competition in the country, many citizens are racing to deepen their skills and gain an understanding of programmes which are not part of their industry. Bake King provides baking classes that are "Skillsfuture Claimable" which encourages the public to use the credits they have earned to learn something new and engaging that is outside of their comfort zone. This will provide a positive outlook towards government bodies due to their constant motivation towards the public, in order to increase their skills and keep up with the developing industry.
