'Marras has lately kicked Kenzo into gear, and the anniversary show recognized that fact, with a first half devoted to the new Spring collection and a second half that mixed pieces from the label's vast archive with his contributions from the more recent past. The prints used in Kenzo were vibrant floral prints; to contrast yet compare with the prints. I used dark, monochromatic floral prints to contrast from the vibrant colors. From the floor to the ceiling, flowers become 3-dimensional with paper / fabric protrude the in the shape of individual petals protruding from the 2-dimensional print.
