The VK NFT Launch Event
Vkontakte, the largest social network in Russia, has made it possible for users to upload digital artifacts to the site. Since the company intends to develop a market for non-fungible tokens, account holders will eventually be able to buy and sell them.
According to VK CEO Marina Krasnova and Chief Technology Officer Alexander Tobol at a presentation in Moscow. The new functionalities will soon be available to all users. Digital collectible owners will be able to use the VK NFT option to transfer their items to their accounts.
During the event, they talked about new opportunities for self-expression and personalisation for users and creators. We tried to reveal the very essence of NFT and showed the offline gallery of modern digital artists.
At the VK NFT Launch, a teaser of the future NFT collection from Vkontakte was presented — eight thousand randomly generated tokens from Spotty. We are waiting for the drop in January.
