Imagery for a range of printed catalogs along with use for their online website and editorial advertising for my client Vietri the largest importer to the USA of fine home decor including tableware/flatware and a wide range of ceramic goods made by various artisans based in Italy.
Through my production company Tomsuey Inc we provided full production services including photography ( Tom McGhee ) location scouting, photo and prop rentals,crew including photo assistants/grips/digital techs , stylist, catering, food stylist.

Images were captured in a wide range of locations in and around North Carolina the home state of Vietri who have over 2000 retailer worldwide.
Tom McGhee Photo along with our sister production company Tomsuey Inc worked with Vietri for just over 18 mths prior to being called back to our operations here in NYC in Feb of 2011 to pursue new clients and continue to serve our worldwide client base.
The image above was captured poolside and as also being a trained Chef as well and a Photographer I always enjoy anything that includes food. Yes the shrimp or as we Aussies call them "prawns" where cooked by yours truly . I feel my previous experience in the culinary world allows me to show off the propped food in it's best light.
This shot of the recycled glass really kicks out and is one of my favorites considering as it was the very last shot of the day and the light was almost gone my lighting guys and I had to puts our heads together along with a couple of HMI's to really make this shot look as it does.
It is this kind of teamwork that really makes for a great shoot as I have very little patience for divas, when it all comes down to it you are only as good and the people you choose to surround yourself with.
