Q-tip; 7 Creative Strategies

1. Combinations - I combined a picture of a flame and a q-tip to create a torch. I used the title clean fuel because the cotton swab is always expected to be clean.
2. Juxtaposition - by using the negative spaces created by the two q-tips, I was able to create a body of a woman. The curves of the q-tips defines the body shapes of the woman standing.
3. Isolation - by placing the q-tip at the right side of the plate, I was able to achieve a sophistication of focus to its individuality. It blends with the table set yet the viewer could still see the obvious difference of a spoon and a q-tip.
4. Metaphor - the shadow that was created from the q-tips represents one of its purpose which is for absorbing fluids in term of cleaning.
5. Change of Context or Environment - by placing the q-tip on a rocket launch, I was able to achieve a representation of a flying q-tip. I edited the shadows from the q-tips to make it more realistic because of the lights from the sun and the lights coming from the burning fuel under.
6. Physical Shape Similarity - the color and and shape of the q-tip is similar to the teeth. The gaps between the q-tips are also relevant to the gaps between teeth.
7. Material Change, Swap, or Focus - by swapping the sword of the knight to a q-tips, I was able to create an eye-catching image. I also intended to replace the sword with something soft in order to shift the focus to the q-tip instead of the knight.
