The Continuum - the Ongoing Journey

The birth of Commism - A new form
Abstract Art using Commas
Inspired by the Bengali figurative art and the motif of "kolka", traditionally used to create intricate curvilinear patterns, Sumit has developed this form and applied it to graphic art, wire design, furniture and interior designs. The commas are present in shapes, shadings and the background swirls.

Like a complex statement strung together by commas, these paintings are strung together to create vivid images. The comma signifies continuous motion and endless hope.
