Kulinarijat is privately owned jam and cookies production. We were approached by the owner and asked to do branding and design for products.
It is line of delicacy food products of Kulinarijat from Vrbovec (owner’s hometown) is designed
to show traditional products with a twist in their recipes. Inspired by the Croatian noble
family from Vrbovec whose cookbooks from 17th ct. testify to the use of various spices.
For these reasons, humorous illustrations are drawn in a technique similar to the original portraits of the family but also with a twist in oversized details.
We worked closely with themed illustrator to enrapture humor with their true portraits.
The product received a lot of media coverage and won a Red Dot design award.
