ART 235 Six Creative Strategies

SIX CREATIVE STRATEGIES
This project comes from the BYUI ART 235 course.  We were asked to select one simple object to use in six different creative strategies.  The strategies used in this project are: Combination, Isolation, Metaphor or Simile, Change of Context or Environment, Physical Shape Similarity and Material Change, Swap, or focus.

The object I chose to use was a tissue box.  The reason for this choice was for the shape and the colorful design.  I felt it had potential for a challenging project as this.
The body of a Lion fish is swapped out for the tissue box.
It is unnatural to see a pug with a tissue box.
The chimney shape was exchanged for the tissue box.
Several rolls of toilet paper next to a single tissue box.
Feathers represent the softness of the tissue paper.
The tissue box is being used as a plant pot.
