Blender: Regenerative pentagram in a dodecahedron

I have always been interested in generative art coding and such, watching how sliders and variables helps branch out organic and inorganic forms of nature and equation onto one canvas. This is naturally an opportunity to bring the little itty gritties of interest into one spot. Playing and Learning about numbers and the mathematical archetypes of nature
and sciences was an interesting process and I wanted to take this chance to put in into a render.

My number of choice for this composition is the Number of 5, also known as the Pentad. It is known as the number of life and growth. It is fascinating to see this property in shapes and patterns. The shapes of a star can easily regenerate and reproduce within a pentagon or itself. It forms a perfect never-ending fractal in theory and it is an opportunity to bring such it to a 3D space and visualize it generating it procedurally.

It's always an exciting moment to look at generated patterns, they can be what you expected or something completely different, they can exceed you r expectations or disappoint you based on parameters and equations you feed but it’s always an exhilarating feeling. In this composition, I will explore into the possibilities of blender geometry nodes and complex volumetric to create a stunning visual composition that follows some well known principles of five and phi.
