o wall cabinet with métaphores paris for milan design week

design | production | styling | shooting | postpoduction

The O wall cabinet was designed as a special edition for Milan Design Week 2021 in collaboration with Métaphores Paris, a French signature for interior decoration belonging to the Hermès textile chain.
The limited-edition cabinet is inspired by the triptych Renaissance altarpiece that intimately enshrines its decorations.  The internal parts of the cabinet fashion graphical and three-dimensional woodwork. The wooden geometries enter in flawless communication with the precious textiles from the Métaphores Collection.
The front of the O wall cabinet has a graphical facade with a superimposed double door closure that enhances the character as a decor element for any interior. Both the interior space and the doors become the surface that welcomes the precious fabrics of the Eléments Terre collection designed by the director of Creation and Image Emilie Paralitici.

Two lines that have embraced the aesthetics of Jacobsroom Editions: Sismic, whose horizontal and vertical striped pattern suggests the energy and dynamism of a seismic motion, and Palanque, played on the weaving of thin contrasting lines that cause an optical effect of movement and that testify to the manufacturing experience of Le Crin, the only laboratory in the world where horsehair is woven by hand.
Customers can choose from a variety of colors for the structure, and from the Métaphores Paris collection for the cabinet’s interior textile decoration. Samples on request
