Mango Pickle - As a child we used to visit my maternal grandmum's place in the south of India during our summer holidays. My cousin and I would spend our afternoons under this beautiful mango tree, she with a stick and me with my skirt flared out. SMACK! SMACK! She would smack the branches and down came tumbling all the mangoes! This illustration is inspired from that memory in a slightly more thrilling context!
