They do that by focusing on the outcome.
This approach drives the core idea behind DSV’s new brand, that of Intentional Emergence. As the coordinator, they orchestrate the way their companies come into existence. The visual concept behind the brand is the (self)organisation of different coordinated elements, coming together towards a common direction, like birds forming up flocks when migrating.
The overall design system is a flexible, distinctive visual language that feels organic while delivering a structured idea, the focus on the end goal. The illustrative graphics used and a visible grid that runs though the designs attracting all other elements to attach onto it, subtly reinforce that concept. BW Gradual - the brand’s primary typeface - complements the brand by adding a dynamic character through its sharp geometric design.

Deep Science Ventures’ methodology when creating a new venture starts wide and meticulously narrows down. Repeating that again and again in all stages of their process is key to reach the desired outcome. The abstract depiction of this filtering process was the drive behind the brand’s marquee, combined with meanings associated with convergence and force.
Outcome focused photography
The brand’s photography direction reinforces their outcome focused approach. All images have a “central focus” area, positioned in the center if displaying certain elements, or zoomed in to feel like a texture when displaying abstract ones.
