MOBIL MARKET
Micromobility for street vendors

Mobil Market is a micromobility vehicle with a service that provides space for urban street sales, and gives mobility for participants. It primarily provides a more dignified sales platform for today’s street vendors. And it would gradually involve young novice artisans and entrepreneurs, there by enlivening the image of the street. By setting up the system, site-specific sales could be changed.
Initially, the target group of the vehicle includes those sellers who are currently selling on the street, cannot afford to open a shop or rent a table at fairs, or do not have enough goods to make it worthwhile to open a shop.
It can also be said about young craftsmen that they cannot financially afford to rent a shop and do not have enough goods for it. Therefore, in a 5-year perspective, young makers could also become users of the vehicle later on.
During the designing process it was important to use familiar objects (plastic crate, parasol) for the user group, to not be alienated.
Arranging the sales surface
We designed an app for the system which is primarily for people in the city to find street vendors. In the application, customers can rate the vendors, thereby creating an increasingly transparent and protected system for street vending throughout the city.
Multiple color variations for personalization, and a modular system, that they can shape for themselves.
