The brief: Sell Legrand's high-end home automation systems
Legrand had acquired a database of high-end home loan customers; a group most likely to opt for Home Automation systems. The insight was that when choosing home decor, men and women rarely agree.
 
The idea: A letter which played on the indecision of homeowning couples
The envelope was self sealed and could only be opened by tearing it down the middle. Inside each half, there was a letter specifically written for each spouse, which pitched the product from their vantage point.
