Sara of Brown Paper Bag (brwnpaperbag) and I did a collaboration back in 2011. She sent me her collage piece, which I was to finish. And I chose to complete the illustration digitally because I thought that her collage piece was so cool to play on.

 

I loved the texture and the colours of the original, so my new character is a reflection of Sara's piece. What came immediately to mind was how Sara's creature seems to be professing their love, so I completed the picture!
