Mara is an ancient goddess associated with winter's death, rebirth and dreams.
Hovala is a mythological creature with 12 or 16 eyes around his head.
Leshachiha is a tutelary deity of the forests as her husbent Leshy.
Gamayun is a prophetic bird and a symbol of wisdom and knowledge.
Naviya is one of the thirteen daughters of Mara. She makes people crazy.
It was a very interesting project, as I did serious research in the field of national Ukrainian clothes, patterns and jewelry.
