LE FIL D’ALERTE
Visual identity and communication supports for the exhibition “Le Fil d'Alerte”, presenting 9 artists nominated for the 21st “Prix Ricard”. Bringing together artists from a wide range of backgrounds, this event seeks to highlight actors in the contemporary art world whose practices question and alert on the state of the world. The graphic language developed for this project is essentially based on the creation and use of an imposing and difficult to classify typography. Through its imperfect forms, it transcribes the empirical approach of the different artists, and also echoes, by its raw aspect, the state of alert and urgency that their works convey. This typographic choice also serves as a guideline for presenting their work, notably through the exhibition catalog, whose discreet and sober use allows to characterize them while linking them to a collective artistic sphere. Project carried out under the art direction of Des Signes.
