When comforted the challenge to do some expressive type for school, I was inspired by nostalgia and feelings of a fleeting past. Using the word "REMEMBER" I wanted to capture the feeling of a fuzzy memory. I started by converting my digital SLR to a pinhole camera then I lazer cut the word "REMEMBER" into a piece of card stock that I attached in front of the pin hole. The pinhole camera allows the type and background to both be in focus. Because there is no depth of field the lettering becomes part of the image. These images are essentially unaltered besides the fact that the colors are inverted. Overall I think the vibe captured matched the concept very well.
