Working with adidas rugby, we created an illustration celebrating the coming together of two legendary rugby icons, Siya Kolisi and Alun Wyn Jones (both captains of South Africa and the British and Irish Lions, respectively), both adidas athletes.
adidas Project Brief
The Lions series finishes on Saturday 7th August, and we want the brand to have a POV at full time, regardless of the result. We'd like to create a 1x illustration of Siya Kolisi and Alun Wyn Jones (both captains of South Africa and the British and Irish Lions, respectively), both adidas athletes.
We are unable to use Getty images as we don’t sponsor either South Africa or the Lions, we also want to be more creative and go down the illustration route to have a point of difference from other brands. Having said that, we’d like the illustration to be as realistic as possible, which is what drew us to you and your style.
We’re looking to recreate the image attached as a starting point as it encapsulates the respect and emphasises our brand statement of Impossible Is Nothing.
