TOKYO 2020 - OLYMPIC GAMES
Today I would like to present to you my study branding project for the TOKYO 2020 Olympic Games on Sportv channel. The goal of this project was to develop a unique and effective branding strategy for the coverage of the Olympic Games on Sportv, which would help to increase viewer engagement and ratings.
To begin, I conducted extensive research on the history and culture of Tokyo, as well as the values and goals of the Olympic Games. I also looked at the coverage of past Olympic Games on Sportv and other sports networks to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.

Based on this research, I developed a brand concept that centered around the idea of "excitement and inspiration." This concept was chosen because it aligned with the values of the Olympic Games and also reflected the unique blend of tradition and modernity that characterizes Tokyo.
OVERVIEW
The visual identity for the brand was inspired by contemporany Japanese art , lifestyle and architecture, with a modern twist. I used a bold, geometric design that incorporated the sun of the Japanese flag, with neon colors of the city skyline. The logo was designed to be versatile and easily adaptable to a variety of applications, from on-air graphics and merchandise to digital and social media.

The final product of my study project was a comprehensive branding and coverage strategy for Sportv channel coverage of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, that aimed to increase viewer engagement and ratings, by creating a unique and effective branding that aligned with the values and spirit of the Olympic Games.
