Meeno Zen's profile

My name is Meeno Zen. I am a new graduate from Shillington College in Melbourne.

About a year ago, I summoned up the courage to leave my decently paid corporate position at Optus and finally took the leap of faith to become a graphic designer at the age of 30. It was not an easy decision, but you only live once.
I always had an appreciation of finer things in life, especially nicely design artifacts. I couldn’t put a finger on it until about a few months ago when I embarked on a changeling yet magical journey at Shillington College.
I design to be happy. I enjoy the process as much as the result. I would love to see my work delight others by creating something as pleasant as it is effective.
I love paper yet fully embrace digital. As an OCD sufferer, I religiously enjoy putting plain text in order and in style, in the form of reports and brochures. And as an anti-Luddite, or Asian, I am also reaping the benefits of technology and the possibility it brings.
Being a new graduate is not easy, I would cherish any opportunity of deploying my skills to empower people and grow with your company together.

I would love to work with professionals in the field. And don’t worry, I am as interesting in person as this little self introduction is sincere.

P.S. I am also a photographer and bilingualist of English and Chinese. Because who knows when it might come in handy.
