"Trobada" Wall, Cantonigròs (Catalonia)

Street Art

Based on the Catalan proverb D’anada o de tornada els traginers fan trobada (Coming or going the mule drivers get together).
The village of Cantonigròs, in the region of El Cabrerès (Barcelona), has its origins in the middle of the 16th century in the inn of Antoni Prat, also known as Toni Gros (Fat Toni). His place was a guesthouse for mule drivers and travelles on their way from Vic to Olot through this region’s main road. If you visit the renowned villages of Rupit or Tavertet you will find Cantonigròs, a welcoming place where locals get along with visitors.
