Nu Bank asked us to develop three episodes of their new campaign series, "Nu Historias."

For this task, we worked closely with the Nu in-house team to bring to life several real stories about real people with real struggles they face and how they solved them with the services of the Nu credit card.

In this episode, we follow the story of a to-be mom who finds herself in a situation where she has no job and is waiting for a newborn child, but Nu's credit card and his plans help her land a new job and buy everything she needs to begin maternity.

Our solution was to tell this story as clearly as possible using clever transitions and colourful moving images. Here at Long Summer Days, we're very passionate about frame-by-frame animation and our team beautifully designed a story that fits with this visual language.

Visual Development

We are true believers in the process; we like to try several ways to solve a sequence that best serves a script line. We often find ourselves inside the rabbit hole but always with a clear vision of what we need to deliver.

Character Design

Designing our star is one of the most beautiful parts of the project, and we like to bring to life a character that feels relatable to Nu users around the globe. For a character design, it is essential to make clear and recognizable shapes stand out on the screen.

Storyboard

The Storyboard is where every visual element starts rising out. A well-made storyboard represents a clear path for every team member to make the process flow nicely.

Sketch

Nothing good surges from nowhere, and sometimes we need several tries and rounds of changes to build the perfect frame for each scene. Magic can't happen just by thinking of it; we actually like that.
