Animating For Public: Genesis Screen
For this group project, we were commissioned by the Hyundai Genesis media in Pitt Street Mall to create a large screen animation. The screen is a bespoke three story high cylindrical LED that wraps around the central staircase in the showroom.
The creative brief we were presented with was "The Future is Unwritten: let's write it with hope, wonder and joy."
Through abstraction of nature and technology, an attainable future of cohabitation between nature and human technologies is visualised. Instead of reaching towards the stars, Return to Sea takes a look into our oceans, where underestimated hope for the future lies.
