Freia sjokoladebutikken/Freia Chocolate Store

Freia Sjokoladebutikken
Freia Chocolate Shop
Freia chocolate store on the main street of Oslo have sold sweets from Freia in 111 years. Now it needed to find back to the original charm, while still appealing to a modern costumer.

The idea to reinstore the chocolate store as a flagship on Karl Johan came after the launch of Walters Mandler (chocolate bar) in 2008. We presented the idea and concept for Kraft Foods, owners of Freia, in the spring of 2008, and to make a long, not to mention fun, educational chocolate story short, we have had a close cooperation ever since.

In addition to a new identity, the small shop now also have new packaging design and a new interior. The chocolate shop is delicate and inviting, combining a modern, clean look with Freia's history, traditions and values. Freia iconic stork has been highlighted on both the packaging and in the interior. We have also developed a pattern that shows chocolate journey from milk to the store on Karl Johans Gate.
