Year 2009 , Asian Football Confederation announced a new rules that forced all football clubs in Asia
to be able to make profit by their own. This make Chonburi FC seeking to rebrand itself.
The plan is to make the club more of a place of vacation by building a new stadium that is also
department store and hotel. This lead to the rebrand concept of "PLAY" meaning
that every people can come here to enjoy and have a great vacation.
